Opening Week of the 2019 Season started with a promise of Great Things to Come with a Rainbow at Midnight on the 8th of June in the Land of the Midnight Sun! With only 3 months to go before opening day on the Alagnak Wild River of Bristol Bay, Alaska; ATA Lodge is looking forward to another great season.   It is about this time we start to get that itchy feeling that starts tingling from the very tips of our toes as we anticipate the beginning of another season on what could be considered one of the very best rivers anywhere in the world for what we love to do....and boy do we love to catch fish! For fishermen who have tasted of the goodness of the Alagnak River, they always cherish the moments they have spent standing knee deep in it's crystal clear waters with a fly rod in hand, anticipating...

The Katmai is renowned for some of the best trout fishing anywhere in the world and the Alagnak Wild River in June is one of the best rivers in the Whole of the Katmai and Bristol Bay to get into the action.

Wow!  What a season!  We had a lot to smile about!  Time sure flies when you are having fun!  And that is what the 2018 season at ATA Lodge seemed to be all about....having fun! 

July has been a blast!  We have had a full house every week, with lots of happy clients catching more fish than they ever imagined possible!   What a season at ATA Lodge on the Alagnak Wild River and we are only half way through!
