Bent Rods and Tight Lines!
I'd have to say that this may well have been our best season ever in many different ways! But I mention this related to the fishing in particular! We didn't have a bad or slow week all season long!
July Has Been Epic at ATA Lodge! Of course the Sockeye Salmon start to stream in to the Alagnak Wild River in Early July. And they did not disappoint again this season. The fishing for sockeye was "off the chain" again this year! Lots of happy guest throughout the whole month were able to catch as many sockeye as they wanted. Most were released, but many guests retained their daily limits to take fresh salmon back home to eat and share with family and friends! ATA Lodge, situated on the Wild and Scenic Alagnak River of Bristol Bay, in Southwest Alaska is anticipating another fantastic season in 2023 after an Epic Season in 2022!! What can we say about the 2022 season that has just finished?
