They say a picture paints a thousand words! Well, we say these happy faces tell the story of ATAL! We have been so blessed with fantastic clients these past weeks since our doors opened! And they have been creating memories to last a lifetime and thankfully they have been willing to share their "stories" and pictures with us (and now with you) of their time on the Alagnak Wild River while staying at ATA Lodge! We are having a great season on the Wild Alagnak River at Alaska Trophy Adventures Lodge! The fishing has been HOT! The wildlife viewing and photography has been fantastic! We have had an outstanding run of Sockeye Salmon and our clients have been limiting out in a few hours everyday! We've Been Slamm'n Salmon for the past week on the Wild Alagnak River. The Sockeye have been streaming past in their 10's of THOUSANDS! One day they estimated 300,000 entered the river! We expect them to keep running strong for the next 2 1/2 weeks! We've had some great clients coming through our doors and have enjoyed introducing them to this amazing river! It's fun sharing the river with our neighbors, like this beautiful Moose! But with the arrival of the first waves of Sockeye Salmon, the Bears have started to show up and we are seeing Bears every day now chasing after the fresh fish.
