 We are just a couple months away from the start of the 2018 season on the Alagnak Wild River in SW Alaska!  We have a special opening season deal that we would like to let you know about.  

 In June, before the salmon arrive, we have some of the very best trout fishing found anywhere!  This is perhaps my favorite type of fishing and preferred time to be on the river.  Why is that?

Well, for the dedicated trout fisherman, June may well be considered the very best time of our season to come and fish both dry flies and streamers for leopard rainbow trout and grayling.  We definitely consider it the very best time of year for "mousing" up rainbows (and some grayling for that matter).  This is when we like to skate mouse patterns across the surface for exhilarating top water action!

What makes this time of year even more attractive, is that in June we offer our very best deal of the season! 

Our opening week special includes 9 days of fishing for the price of 7!  That equates to 9 days for just $3,665.00 from June 8 (opening day) through June 17.  That is almost 1/2 our normal price for 9 nights (normally a $7,062.00 value)!

 Weeks 2 & 3 Specials

Our normal weeks run Sunday to Sunday, so week 2 of the season is from June 17 to 24.  This week is also available at the special price of $3,665.00 per person (a $1,800.00 savings from our normal 7 day package of $5,495.00)!  Spaces are limited to only 12 anglers during this week as well.

 Finally, the 3rd week of our opening season is June 24-July 1st.  This is the final week that we are running our opening season special price.  This week holds the possibility of catching the very beginning of the Sockeye Salmon run as well.

Normally this price is only available when 3 people book together (our 3 for the price of 2 deal June special as described on our website).  We are now offering that price to individuals based on double occupancy (2 sharing a cabin and boat/guide) when quoting code OPENER2018.

Grayling fishing is also incredible during these weeks.  It is the time of year that we catch the most Lake Trout as well.  Even some Dolly Varden and Pike may be caught at this time.
